The Heart Initiation

When the Heart Initiation takes place we enter our true spiritual home and forever we rest in our divine heart. All expressions of the personality are filtered through our heart of divine awakening. The Heart Initiation is a time in our soul’s evolution where the personal self, along with the identification of the story of our life, come to an end. It can be a time of great pain as we let go of the old way of personal power and contro,l and surrender to a greater intention and the holy purpose of our life.

During this first initiation, our small self, or ego begins to dissolve and it can sometimes feel like an inner death, but truly it is a time of great expansion of consciousness. The patterns of our small self are rooted in fear and survival strategies. When these patterns are penetrated by a greater light, a stronger consciousness of truth, the fear begins to dissolve.

The Heart Initiation awakens the divine law within our being and we are then guided by higher principles of truth, discernment, compassion, and impersonal love. It is as if something comes alive in our life and we no longer walk this path alone. There is a sacred presence guiding us, protecting us, and holding us in the light of divine love. We begin to live a life of effortless being and divine synchronicities.

The Heart Initiation is truly the time when matter unites with spirit. Matter can be understood as the energy of Shakti; the creative, evolving force that gives us the life force to reach our true potential as spiritual beings. Spirit can be understood as Shiva; the aspect of our being that is all knowing, God Presence, Truth, and divinely whole.

As we evolve in our being we begin to walk the path of the lighted way and approach the gateway of our sacred heart. When we unite with the beloved within the heart, we deeply surrender our old way of being. We can observe that all along there is the background in which all things are appearing in our life and this background is whole and unaffected. We realize that it is only through identifying with the passing appearances on the screen, or the background, that we get caught in the belief that we are these things. The Heart Initiation begins when we ask the most important questions of our life, “Who Am I? What do I Want?” From there we begin to live our life as a prayer and the answer to our prayers.

For in truth there is only one consciousness, but the need to be something. Holding onto a separate sense of self has caused great suffering. This cycle of suffering from separation must come to an end if there is to truly be peace in our hearts. The Heart Initiation opens the flood gates of our hearts and the divine love that is released heals all patterns of separation. We release the bondage of memory, time conditioning, and our life is literally reborn as we become a child of the light. The Heart Initiation brings us the gift's great divine love and a life of timeless beauty.

As seen in the diagram below, the plane of the personality is the field of the body, mind, and emotions which is the container of our past. When operating from this plane we continue to repeat past patterns and avoid being in the eternal moment . . . for the eternal moment is a much higher frequency that is only accessible through letting go of our identification with the past. The antakarana, or bridge of light, is the path of the lighted way that appears through our willingness to 'die' or completely let go of the past. The bridge of light is the way through the heart where one is metaphorically reborn into their true nature. The heart literally breaks open and spirit fills the heart with love, joy, peace, and compassion. Our life begins anew when we live in the essence of the beginning. The beautiful saying of Jesus depicts this way of being so beautifully, "“ The disciple said to Jesus, “Speak to us about our end; How will it look? How will it happen?""

Jesus replied, “ Have you found the beginning in yourself? If not, why are you asking about the end? For in the place in yourself, where you find the beginning, you will also find the end. The blessed ones will find their feet standing at the beginning. Then they will know the end and not taste death.”
